This past 13 of September, the two districts of Honduras celebrated a Leadership Summit in the Central District in the Colinas, Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The presenter was the Discipleship Ministries Coordinator for the Mesoamerica Region, Missionary and Reverend Monte Cyr. He was accompanied by our brothers Ulises Solis (Field SDMI Coordinator) and Roger Lemus (Field Evangelism Coordinator).
Rev. Cyr taught book 2 of the Million Leaders Mandate leadership curriculum. 100 leaders attended, including zone pastors from the central, south, east, and Siguatepeque, as well as leaders of the various district and local ministries. The event was organized by the district president of SDMI, Josias Nuñez with his team. Also in attendance was District Superintendent Begardo Bardales. This event was organized with the purpose of training pastors and leaders in the skills of leadership, so our churches can grow in quality and quantity.
Books for discipleship and Sunday School were available to resource the churches.
Each participating leader received a diploma that accredits the receiver to train others in the second book of the Million Leaders Mandate curriculum.
