January 2014; a Women’s Leadership Conference was held in the Cuban Nazarene Seminary. It was geared to pastors’ wives and women serving in leadership of different ministries. An average of 600 women attended this time of ministry and fellowship. Sister Rosa Saenz shared with them a time of reflection and ministering the word of God, encouraging them and reminding them of God’s faithfulness.
Every year after District Assembly, women have taken a day to address exclusive themes for Ladies in the Service of God. The organizer of the event is Sister Migdalis López, wife of District Superintendent Leonel López, who has excelled in supporting and ministry to pastors’ wives.
A family retreat in the month of June is planned for all pastors and their spouses. At this event, Regional Director Carlos Saenz and his wife, the Regional Administrator, Mrs. Rosa Saenz, will share and minister. Both districts will join together for this retreat.
