Leaders in the Mesoamerica North Central Area visited El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua from September 29-October 5 to follow-up on The Power of One Conference held in August 2017 in Guatemala. The Power of One is a ministerial philosophy to encourage leaders to work towards integrated growth in their churches. The three leaders who made the trip were Rev. Leonel De Leon, the Field Strategy Coordinator, Rev. Roger Lemus and Rev. Ulises Daniel Solis.
The first session was in Usulutan, El Salvador, with 52 leaders from all three districts. The district superintendents reported on the discipleship work in their districts. Rev. Solis said, “It was a tremendous blessing to hear the reports. One young pastor had 27 disciplines and a new mission in the East District.”
In Nicaragua, 18 leaders from the 4 districts attended. In Honduras, 28 leaders attended. Rev. De Leon closed with a special time of prayer for the district superintendents and their spouses.
