A year ago, I began to read the Daniel Plan Book, I found advice so timely to take care of health in an integral way, that I decided to motivate the reading of it among a group of friends from different churches.
However, the book remained in my mind as a knowledge, but did not advance more than that, because I left everything as a desire to improve my health, however I did not surrender my will to put it to work.
A year later, I am weighing 11 kilos less, kilos that I lost when I had to start a diet not by choice but by necessity. Looking backward I realize that I could have taken corrective actions that could have prevented the health crisis I had to go through, in that time, I remembered the passage from that says: “If you know how to do good and do not do it, you are already sinning ” James 4:17
I asked for forgiveness to the Lord because I knew what I had to do to take care of my health, but I did not. We do not have to wait for the crisis to make the right decisions in the care of our health. Today my habits of life have changed, I hydrate, eat healthy, I do exercise and rest. In the midst of my desert I saw the faithfulness of God.
And you… are you going to expect to live a desert to do what is good to take care of your body? Better, start now.
