On December 1, 2013, the Mexican Nazarene Seminary celebrated the graduation ceremony of 14 students, 13 obtained their bachelor’s degree in theology and one received a Masters of Religious Studies.
The celebration was held in the auditorium of the Center of Praise and Proclamation in Oaxaca, Mexico.
The event began with a time of worship, followed by the Word of God shared by Pastor Igna Suarez.
As part of the ceremony we had the participation of our regional leaders as follow:
Doctor Rubén Fernández, Director of SENDAS and Regional Coordinator of Theological Studies; Rev. René Jiménez Guzmán, Field Strategy Coordinator of Mexico South; Obdulia Martínez, Director of SENAMEX; Pastor Elias Betanzos Luis, District Superintendent of Oaxaca Norponiente district and Pastor Igna Suarez.
The graduates heard words of encouragement from the director, Obdulia Martinez and immediately thereafter they received a special recognition. Three of them received an honorable mention: Maria de la Luz Portillo Salinas, Juan de Dios Gonzalez Ortiz and Enrique Cano Toledo.
The ceremony concluded with a prayer expressed by Pastor Elias Betanzos Luis, who blessed the graduates and gave thanks to God for allowing each of them come to the end of their studies.
The Oaxaca Norponiente District congratulates them all, and is pleased to present them as Bachelors in Pastoral Theology.
