The first “Reactive” NYI camp for Costa Rica was held from September 11th to September 13th 2015. This was organized in coordination with the district presidents and the Mesoamerica Central Field NYI coordinator, Gaby Bustos. This event was conducted at the Poas Church of the Nazarene property, in Alajuela. Fifty youth leaders attended, representing 16 churches of the country.
The camp enabled NYI leaders and emerging leaders in each church and district. These trainings were supported by the Regional NYI coordinator, Rev. Milton Gay and an exceptional team of national leaders who collaborated with the workshops, plenary etc.
Gabriela Bustos said: “We thank God that our leaders have been challenged to implement the resources offered by the Regional NYI, we have been encouraged to work together as a one NYI, motivated to see our groups challenged to grow holistically and above all to work together to have a good representation in the INDESTRUCTIBLE Conference in July 2016. A generation of leaders who seek to improve their work creatively to meet not only with the NYI vision, but also with Christ’s command to let others know more of Him ”
