The First Church of the Nazarene in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, hosted a Project Paul event Jan. 27 to Feb. 18, 2018. Eighty members from churches around the city participated, divided between 8 groups.
The volunteer missionaries did evangelistic and discipleship work to strengthen the 8 existing churches and open three new missions in Guadalajara. As a result of their efforts, 323 people decided to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and 40 of them began in a discipleship program.
The participants shared emotional testimonies of their experiences and proposed that they continue the evangelistic project.
Project Paul Coordinator, Pastor Manuel Molina, said, “We praise God for the brothers and sisters who gave their time to serve as missionaries after their normal work hours. We give glory to our Lord Jesus Christ for the fruit that he has given us.”
