We ask for your prayers for the Mexico South Border District. In the latest news that we have received about the damages caused by the earthquake on the morning of July 7th, two temples have been reported with damages.
The front corners of the Church of the Nazarene located in the Community of Morelos Rivera, Motozintla municipality, Chiapas, built with bricks and a tin roof, broke and it in danger of collapsing. We have taken the necessary security measures in assessing what should be done and will start working on it right away. In the Church of the Nazarene located in El Arenal Colony, Huixtla municipality, Chiapas, two walls were affected with openings or tears crossing from side to side, and the floor broke. The church is seeking advice to repair the damage.
“We ask for your prayers for our brethren who are saddened by the damage to their temples.”
