On November 1st 2015, the Panama Church of the Nazarene held the “United to Conquer” event at the Coopeve Convention Center with the purpose of unifying the two districts and thus working to spread the gospel in this country, as well as spending a special time together as a church. More than 700 people attended the event.
As part of the event, there was a dance special and traditional music. Regional Director, Dr. Carlos Saenz, shared the message of God’s Word. There was a very special time where the Communion was served, directed by superintendents Carlos de la Cruz and Ulises Espinosa, along with other pastors.
The superintendents shared their reports and testimonies of what is happening in their districts. The Panamanian Church recognized Dr. Carlos Saenz and his family for their precious and important ministry over the years in the country and the region. Recognitions were given to the first superintendents of both districts, Rev. Gordon and Rev. Emeldo Quintanar. A special recognition was also given to Rev. Felipe Flores for his service as superintendent. People who have served for over 35 and 40 years in the Church of the Nazarene were also recognized.
Sister Rosa Saenz, Regional Administrator and Sister Emma Hernandez led the event.
