The North Central Area of the Mesoamerica Region began the first phase of assemblies on Feb. 16. The first assembly was held in the Guatemala Atlantic District at the First Church of the Nazarene in Puerto Barrios. The Field Strategy Coordinator, Rev. Leonel de Leon, presided along with Roger Lemus Perez and Rev. Ulises Solis, part of his ministry team.
Rev. de Leon took a moment to pray for District Superintendent Rev. Mario Pineda and his wife as well as all of the pastors. Before praying he urged them to live a life of holiness and to guide their churches in the same lifestyle. They ended the assembly by consecrating the newly elected leadership.
