October 25th, 2015, the San Isidro “Betel” congregation in the Nicaragua North District, took a major step in their church life, as in a solemn act, they were formally organized as a Church of the Nazarene, being the second church in the city and the 25th in the Nicaragua North District.
The church has 27 full members, 5 associate members, an enrollment of 49 in Sunday School and 32 in worship attendance.
The first board and the pastor, Manuel Salvador Martinez, who holds a district license were installed.
Part of the ceremony included the symbolic presentation of the “Legacy”, from the mother Church represented by Sister Maria Jimenez, who is one of the first Nazarene in San Isidro. A teenager of the newly organized church received it with enthusiasm and commitment to this spiritual legacy.
The event was attended by Reverend Gadiel Morales and the membership of the San Isidro – mother Church and the music group “PROEZAS” from the Segunda Bendición (Second Blessing) Church of the Nazarene in Somoto.
