The Nicaragua North District dedicated a new church building in the community of El Rodeo on Feb. 25. The church is called Joshua 1:9. About 350 people from around the district attended the celebration.
During the event there was a thanksgiving service, a ribbon cutting, and an unveiling of the plaque. The church is dedicated first to God, but second to the memory of Pastor Noel Sullivan who came to Nicaragua in 2012 and is now in the presence of the Lord.
Four members of the Sullivan family and the president of the Casa Unida Foundation, William Robert Moore, attended the dedication service. They were the individuals who provided the funds for this important project.
The musical group PROEZAS led the worship time and Pastor Scott Carranza from the Casa Unida Foundation preached during the service.
