On October 4th, 2016, after Hurricane Mathew affected Haiti, missionary Erika Chaves, who serves in Nazarene Compassionate Ministries in Haiti with her husband David Campos, reported that all missionaries and their families on the seminary campus are well and their homes are safe. However, she reported that many families lost their houses. More than 2,000 Haitians are in government shelters, hoping to have enough drinking water and blankets. The photos are from the south.
She encourages us to deeply pray for them, while enjoying the warmth of our homes, as well as other islands where the hurricane affected.
