On Sunday July 19th, 2015, the Panama West District held the first family conference “In Your Hands are my Times” at the Silencio Church of the Nazarene in Changuinola, Bocas del Toro Province. Ms. Alicia Richars, NCM District Coordinator and Rev. Sol de Vergara, NCM National Coordinator, organized the event.
The event began by showing the audience a video of the work being done by Panama NCM through the Cinfa Centers (Children and Families Holistic Development Center). Afterwards, there was a very special time where Rev. Javier Charris prayed for the Panamanian families. Cinfa children shared through a special presentation during the event. There was also a special time for a baby dedication.
The conferences were led by Lic. Rosa Saenz, Dr. Carlos Saenz and Irene and Miguel Garita from the Family Care Ministry of the Mesoamerican Region. The Garitas spoke to the families about love, spiritual commitment and loyalty. Parents were encouraged to be an example to their children. It was a time where families were ministered to and blessed by the Lord.
The National NCM Coordinator completed the event giving a word of thanks, followed by a ribbon cutting and laying of the foundation stone by the Mesoamerica Regional Director, Dr. Carlos Saenz at the site where the Panama NCM offices will be located.
Pray for this project, which seeks to bless the district. Also, pray for the ministry of the Garita and Saenz families, may the Lord keep using them to minister to our region.
