A Cross Cultural Orientation (CCO) was held in Motozintla, Chiapas, Mexico South Border District, from July 3rd to July 5th 2015, with 15 participants in attendance. The CCO brings together people with an interest or a call to missions, in order to guide and train them.
During this time, those in attendance were challenged to respond to God’s call and be part of the revival that God wants at this time, for this generation and the next. The participants are now convinced they can be involved in missions: praying, giving and going.
Some of the testimonies:
“God is beautiful. Before we were born, he had already set His eyes on us, and though the years have passed and we haven’t recognized that choice and even though we see ourselves full of shortcomings, God still sees us the same way as the beginning when He created us. Today, I want my time to be in tune with God’s time. Today, I will not hesitate anymore. Today, I want to do his will. ” – Rodolfo N. Perez Mejia (Motozintla, Chiapas)
“I thank God because during these days, God has spoken to my life through His Word and confirmed my missionary call. During the time of activities, God changed the way I think. I believe that a strong church in the Lord can support the missionaries in the field. ” – Andrea M. Lopez Miguel (Tapachula, Chiapas)
“At the CCO I learned that everyone has a calling from God and now my desire is to obey his call using the gifts and talents He has given me in any work area. I think the most important is to serve. ” – Febe Eldai Rodríguez Rodríguez (Motozintla, Chiapas)
