Between April 4 and 6 in 2018, training took place for Missional Zone Planters at the Convention Center at STN (Nazarene Theological Seminary) in Guatemala. 11 of the people participating have decided to face the challenge of establishing preaching points in 15 districts in the countries of Guatemala and Nicaragua in the next six months.
For each year to come, the goal is for the team to establish 10 to 15 new preaching points, making disciples and forming new leaders.
Dr. Bernie Slingerland, the Coordinator of Regional Evangelism, says, “You can never underestimate the heart of a church planter. It’s just like what the global evangelist D.L. Moody said that there’s no way to understand what God can do with a man or woman who is completely dedicated to God and His work!”
