Mesoamerica Nazarene Youth International leaders recently held leadership conferences in Panama and El Salvador for pastors and leaders of the Church of the Nazarene. The goal was to provide tools to serve youth effectively and with excellence.
The event in Panama was Aug. 24-25, and 96 people participated. In El Salvador 70 people attended the event Aug. 31 – Sept. 1. Participants included district superintendents, pastors, ministry leaders and leaders from the area.
The main theme of the conference was “How to integrate coaching tools in leadership.” Rev. Milton Gay, NYI Regional Coordinator, and Felix Ortiz, international leadership trainer, led the training. They taught and motivated the leaders to guide others to achieve their personal goals and objectives.
“NYI wants to enhance transformational leadership in its leaders, so that they can learn how the role of Coaching helps us to enhance and empower new generations. If you would like to be part of this movement, watch for the next training events in 2019 in the region,” said Odily Diaz, North Central Area NYI Coordinator.
