During the month of May, the Panama Central District of the Church of the Nazarene (CotN) had the blessing to receive a medical team from Flint Central CotN from Flint, Michigan, USA. The team served in various needy communities through free medical services.
The Flint Central CotN has sent teams to serve through medical outreach in Panama Central for two and a half years. In May, the help arrived to the churches and communities of Potrero Grande, Caimito, El Nazareno and Tocumen. The team offered general medical attention, assessment of vital signs, ophthalmological attention and pharmaceuticals. The people of the communities, the members of the churches and pastors of the churches were grateful for the service the team provided.
The trip was organized through Work and Witness and Nazarene Compassionate Ministries (NCM) of Panama. They would like to thank the district for the help they provided and especially Dr. Caroline Saenz and Dr. Joseline Rodriguez of the NCM team who provided general medical attention.
