On Saturday March 29, 2014, the Youth Leadership Conference “The Kingdom Advances” was held in the 1st Church of the Nazarene of Tampico, the Sugarcane and Seashore zones. Forty-eight youth leaders from the Mante City, Victoria, Altamira, Madero City and Tampico churches attended the event.
This was the first conference of the Mexico Northeast District under the leadership of the new NYI president, Esdras Hernández and organized by the field’s president, Angela Rodriguez.
The following workshops were offered:
“Blessings and Distress of Leadership” by Dr. Patricia Rubio
Leader’s Faith” by Sister Ester Bernal.
“Things I should care for” by Elder Raúl Gómez.
“How do you organize NYI? by Pastor Gilberto Rodríguez.
“Firm Footprints” by Beto Catalan.
“8 Signs of an Outstanding Leader” by Esdras Hernández
The event was a great blessing and training for the next generation of leaders willing to work and declare that the Kingdom advances!
