The International Day of Pray for Persecuted Christians is November 5, 2023.
This special day is set aside as a global prayer meeting on behalf of persecuted Christians who stand as a bold witness to Christ on the world’s most dangerous mission frontiers. The earnest prayers of the global body of believers testify to the unity found only in Christ. May God inspire us as we enter into fellowship with our persecuted Christian family.
Please use this Sunday and the month of November to mobilize your church in prayer for those who have suffered for testifying that Jesus Christ is Lord. The following short film (only available in English) can be used to educate and inspire those around you. It was produced by The Voice of the Martyrs and is titled: Sejun: Nepal. It tells the story of a Nepali boy’s journey from life in a Buddhist monastery as a preschooler to finding new hope in Christ.
“For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives…” (Colossians 1:9).
