More than 4,000 people from 104 churches attend the Holiness Service and Plan Launch in the Guatemala Verapaz North District. They held services on Jan. 11 and Feb. 3 in the 9 zones of the district.
District Superintendent Francisco Cho said the district has realized that to be able to make more disciples, people need to be disciples filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. That is why they have held these special services to encourage all members to experience Entire Sanctification.
Local pastors along with the different service teams from their churches attended the events. A district team made up of 18 people, who traveled more than 120 km, also attended.
“The movement of the Holy Spirit is palpable in this Guatemala zone. More than 2,500 people have testified that they were filled with the power of the Holy Spirit . . . Each member of the local churches has a new attitude of service that reflects in the conversion of more people for Christ,” Cho said.
In every service they praised God with music, prayer and offerings. They also shared food together.
“The movement of the Spirit in the churches is so real that we have begun to see conversions and great testimonies of sanctification. We share this news so that other Nazarene brothers and sisters can begin to seek the filling of the Holy Spirit,” Cho concluded.
