Every week, the members of the Church of the Nazarene in Bataca, Dominica, visit the sick, elderly and those in extreme poverty in their community; bringing hope and joy through songs, prayers, fellowship and also delivering food packages and assistance.
Bataca is the most vulnerable area in Dominica, many of the church members have very little, but that has not prevented them from being Jesus’ compassionate hands in a real and tangible way. The Church of the Nazarene in Bataca is the only Nazarene Compassionate Ministries Center in the Caribbean Field.
Let us pray for the church in Bataca, the compassionate center and W&W coordinators, Steve and Amanda Pettit; that God will bless and prosper them to continue helping more people.
