District Coordinator, Pastor Vilma Mohammed, was a happy person on February 1, 2014 with the historic launch of the DCSP on the island of Tobago in the Trinidad &Tobago District of the Nazarene Church.
The historic event took place at the Bethany Church of the Nazarene with six (6) students in attendance. The first course to be offered is “Survey of the Old Testament”, being taught by Sister Krystal Forbes. Classes take place on Saturdays between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Eight (8) students have registered to take the course.
The Director of the Center is the Rev. Jennifer Thom, who only last year returned to the COTN T&T District to become the Pastor of the Bethany Church of the Nazarene, after serving as a Pastor for several years in the USA.
Pastor Vilma Mohammed, who was accompanied to Tobago by her husband, Rev. Farouk Mohammed, blessed the Lord for the fulfillment of the goal of taking the DCSP to Tobago.
Pastor Vilma Mohammed and Rev. Jennifer Thom look forward as Teacher Krystal Forbes addresses the first DCSP Class in Tobago.
