The Guatemala Verapaz North District organized 3 news Churches of the Nazarene in the month of October. The churches are: Peniel Church of the Nazarene (Oct. 20), Bet-El Church of the Nazarene (Oct. 26), and The Good Sower Church of the Nazarene (Oct. 28). Each of the three churches have more than 70 members, a church building and a parsonage.
“We thank God for the faithful work of the mother churches and Pastors Jose Paau and Rev. Ernesto Caal, who helped bring the missions to organized status,” said District Superintedent Rev. Francisco Cho Si.
To celebrate the three newly organized churches, the churches prepared special music and food. At the Peniel Church, the Pastors’ Chorus participated in the celebration and various others pastors attended the event.
With these new churches, the district now includes 104 churches and expects to plant new missions, which will eventually be organized as well.
“The district welcomes these three new churches and thanks God for the lay people, pastors and servants that have planted the seed of the Gospel, which continues to give fruit in a great way,” closed Rev. Francisco Cho.
