Between April 4 and 6 of 2018, further development took place for the Missional Zone Planters (MZP) in the Convention Center at STN in Guatemala. 60 leaders participated from the four countries of the North Central field from the Church of the Nazarene.
This time, the team worked based on the book by Dr. John Maxwell called The DNA of an Entrepreneur, which was adapted for this group as The DNA of Missional Zone Planters. Bernie Slingerland, the Regional Coordinator of Evangelism, comments that it worked really well for the team, since creativity and free thinking are required for starting a Missional Zone. In addition, 10 principles were taught that helped the MZPs understand themselves better and understand their real potential for planting churches. Rev. Slingerland says, “This is why it’s fitting to say that the DNA of an Entrepreneur is the same as the DNA of an MZP!”
