For the first time since the new Mesoamerica Region was organized, the NMI leadership met for training in Haiti.
The training was held at the Nazarene Theological Seminary in Port au Prince on July 4th and 5th 2014. District superintendents, pastors, field, local and district NMI presidents, for a total of 21 leaders represented the 11 districts in the country were present.
During the activity, the new French Field NMI Coordinator, Mrs. Tonya Kucey, a Canadian missionary serving in that country, was presented. Tonya also presented a workshop at the conference.
Rev. Pierre Antoine Jacques, French Field Strategy Coordinator; Rev. Israel Acosta, Field Office Administrator in Haiti, were present and also shared the Word of God. Martha de Acosta, who supports the Field administration; Erika Chavez, missionary serving in Dominican Republic with Genesis project and Ana Maria Diaz Crocker, NMI Regional Coordinator, participated and support this event.
We thank God for allowing us to share this training and see how God is moving the missionary work in the Church of the Nazarene and how the French field can be part of missions.
