Saturday, June 30, the Costa Rica Central District continued to receive people from the USA and Canada as a part of ENCUENTRO 2018. The 166 participants, along with the translation team and district leaders, traveled from the Nazarene Seminary of the Americas (SENDAS) on Sunday to the different churches where they would be working during the week. There they had a chance to meet the church, enjoy a worship service and share a lunch together.
The churches where the groups and congregations will be working this week are:
- Los Angeles
- Pavas
- Barrio Mexico
- San Rafael de Coronado
- Alajuelita
- San Pablo de Heredia
On Wednesday a group will travel work in the mission of Poas de Alajuela in Cabuyal.
We continue in prayer for Costa Rica and the participants – both foreign and local—in ENCUENTRO.
