The Northcentral Area held the third Creative Evangelism Camp (CEC) Apr. 19-21, this time in El Salvador. There were 29 participants from all 3 districts in the country.
Along with the workshops normally included in the CEC, the vocalist from the band Lyon shared about using music in evangelism.
Every CEC includes a time to apply the material for 4 hours in different contexts. In Honduras, the Santa Marta Church received a group, where the participants presented the gospel to more than 80 children. Many accepted Christ. In Guatemala, the school associated with the Central Church allowed participants to shared with two different sections of teenagers. About 50 students enjoyed games and activities along with a reflection time and invitation to live for Christ. Many accepted the invitation. In El Salvador, they visited a community in San Salvador where 10 teenagers received the Lord Jesus into their hearts. The nearby church will follow-up with the new believers.
Odily Diaz said, “We give thanks to God for the vision of the regional and area leadership to serve and teach the 95 youth leaders to infect others with the love of our Savior. We believe that our countries will see a movement of God in the local churches that implement the tools that they have been taught in this process.”
