After 30 years of living together, Mr. Pablo Gaitan and Mrs. Rita Reyes, made a vital step in their lives, starting the beautiful commitment of marriage with the support and blessing of God
For a long time, Sister Rita has been eager to be baptized, but could not since she has been living with a partner out of wedlock. On June 2015, during an outing and baptism time for the First Church of the Nazarene of Barrio Mexico, Costa Rica; Pastor Leyla Ramirez, found out about the situation and suggested that they marry and set their life in order as established the Word of God. They agreed and on Sunday July 5th, they exchanged marriage vows before God and the church members. Sister Rita, who is 75 years old, married her longtime companion, Don Pablo, who is 54 years old. On this day Brother Pablo also accepted Jesus into his heart.
“I do not doubt that they are in love and are determined to continue holding God’s hand… they decided to witness the faithfulness of God in their lives. Today is a great day for our church as we can testify that you can obey God and that in love there is no age limit”
