The Church of the Nazarene Trinidad and Tobago District engaged in a Local Work & Witness Project at the Laventille Church of the Nazarene from January 19 – 24, 2014. The project involved the replacement of the original roof of the church, which has served an area considered a high risk community for over forty years.The coordinator of the project was District NMI President
Leonard Grant who expressed thanks to everyone who contributed in any way to the successful completion of the Laventille Church Roof Replacement Project.

Dr. Victor George, Nicholas De Sormeaux, Curtis Le Andre, John Gibson, Miguel Lara, Yvonne Gibson, Loraine Grant, and Deacon Anthony Peters.Thanks also to the auxiliary team members comprising: Rev. Special commendation is extended to members of the Tunapuna Church of the Nazarene, namely Rev. Nazim Mohammed, Curtis John, and Dennis Lorde who participated in the planning of the event.
We praise GOD for St James Church of the Nazarene Pastor Rev. Dr. Anthony Quimby and District Superintendent Rev. Dr. Victor George for allowing the members of the team the use of the facilities at the St. James Church of the Nazarene and the District Resource Centre.
