On August 20th 2016, 35 young people from different churches in the Costa Rica North District joined for a Maximum Mission in the community of Irigaray, an average of 20 families were blessed.
The group performed community work, house evangelism , activities and prayer for the children. The group also delivered six food baskets to families in need in the community, they were very grateful to God and the Church of the Nazarene for their generosity.
The event ended with a worship service with more than 50 people. Since the sanctuary is very small, people participated while still outside. It was a very blessed time because there were people who reconciled with the Lord.
The churches involved were: Poas, Upala, Barrio San Jose, Irigaray, Quebrada Grande, Liberia and Cañas Dulces.
Estefania Amador said: “… It was wonderful to see the willingness and desire of people from Irigaray to learn more about God’s Word… One of the families we visited shared with us the need they were going through and the great blessing of receiving a food basket… testimonies like this are our inspiration to continue serving the Lord. ”
