These women from the Central District met from September 20 to 22 at the Torres de Alba Hotel in Panama City, Panama.
The event was organized by the Crecer (Growing) Ministry led by Mrs. Amantina de De La Cruz and her team.
The women enjoyed a great time of fellowship, productivity workshops and different recreation activities.
The speakers were: Pastor Joaquina de Ramos; Reverend Irene Garita of the Family Care Ministry of the Mesoamerica Region, and Mrs. Rosa Sáenz, Administrator of the Mesoamerica Regional office.
Pastor Joaquina de Ramos, from Panama but currently resides and serves with her husband in Guatemala, shared testimonies of her pastoral time in Panama. She challenged women to change and be women of productivity.
Mrs. Irene Garita motivated women to be productive in all areas of their lives including service to God. In addition, together with her husband Dr. Miguel Garita, they held one-on-one sessions for women needing personal support.
The final speaker was Mrs. Rosa Sáenz. She motivated everyone present to be productive and to work with excellence for the Lord.
The women were also inspired by singer and minister of praise, Donaldy Marte of the Dominican Republic who led women in a time of praise to God.
“The three days were a great gift from God. There was reconciliation and a readiness to accept challenges; commitments were made by participants to be productive in their families, the environment and especially in the service of God; they were also challenged to break the paradigms and overcome obstacles so that God’s purpose is fulfilled.” — Amantina de De La Cruz said
In addition, she expressed her gratitude to the Lord, to Mrs. Rosa Sáenz, to the speakers and to her team for all the support received.
