On December 12th and 25th 2013, 22 members of the New Hope and La Carbonera, Churches of the Nazarene in the town of Somoto, Nicaragua North District, worked in cleaning two hundred yards of rural road and a vacant lot, with the purpose of combating the mosquito that transmits the “dengue” disease. It also facilitates the transit of people and vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles and wagons. This road was difficult to access before.
This task had the solidary support of the Casa Unida Foundation who provided fuel and other resources. The work, in addition of being a benefit to the community is also a witness to many of God’s love and care through these churches.
