On January 12, 2018, the Brighton Church of the Nazarene from Brighton, Michigan, USA donated 5 computers to the Children and Family Center. The Center is a Nazarene Compassionate Ministry (NCM) project in the Espave de Chame Church of the Nazarene in the Panama Central District.
The Center offers tutoring to children, workshops for parents, and a feeding program for needy children, along with other services. In order to continue serving the educational needs of local children, they have added a computer lab so that children and youth can complete their homework assignments. There is no other computer lab in the community.
The Brighton Church of the Nazarene has been a great blessing to the church in Panama in many ways. In the last two years they have participated in two Work and Witness projects and have made generous donations to help develop the church and Work and Witness on a national level. They have provided food for hundreds of hungry children through their generous offerings to NCM projects in Panama.
The Church of the Nazarene in Panama and the ministry of Work and Witness are grateful to God and to the Brighton Church of the Nazarene for these great blessings.
