What is RAC? Regional Advisory Committee.
It took place in Panama City on September 28 and 29 of 2013 with the purpose of evaluating our Region’s work during this last year. We praise the Lord for the beautiful time we had working and meeting together so that together in the Region we could know and understand our work objectives and achieve them together.
The RAC members serve for four years and are elected during the General Assembly. This year those elected are: Dr. Carlos Sáenz, president (Panamá), Rev. Ramón Sierra (Puerto Rico), Mrs. Carmen Checo (Dominican Republic), Mr. David Eliassant (Haiti), Mrs. Annecesse Zamor (Haiti), Dr. Víctor E. George (Trinidad y Tobago), and Dr. Michael E. Scott (French Guiana).
The RAC members, together with Dr. Vern Ward, World Mission Director, and Dr. David Busic, General Superintendent, heard reports from the Field Strategy Coordinators and Ministry Coordinators from the Mesoamerica Region. They received information and suggestions concerning the work being done. We thank the Lord for the special time we had in this week.
The Lord also allowed us time to share a tourism day in Panama City. This time is special for forming friendships and unity among leaders who serve the Lord in our Mesoamerica Region.
