On Friday, August 16, 9 congregations of the Central District of Dominican Republic united to celebrate a day of baptisms. Those were celebrated at the Nazarene Dominican Seminary where 36 persons were baptised.
After the baptisms they participated in the Lord’s Supper in a special church service. “It was wonderful to hear the salvation testimonies of the brethren that were baptised. We glorify the Lord’s great work in our district”, said the District Superintendent, Ernesto Bathermy. Besides, he said that the congregations that did not assisted to this event are already working to participate of another time of baptisms.
This activity had its source in the pastors meetings where they expressed this desire to have such events at least two times each year.
