Mexico held the National Nazarene Compassionate Ministries Congress May 25-27 at the North Area Training Center in Mezcala, Jalisco. The days were intense. Unity, fellowship and participation were the order of the day. Leaders, pastors, volunteers, and children from diverse states within Mexico attended.
The presenters put Christ in the center of their messages. What they shared strengthened integration, teamwork, coordination of efforts and focus. Most importantly, they shared their experiences and testimonies that marked the lives of many people after the September 2017 earthquake.
Many of the youth who actively served as volunteers in disaster response and medical clinics attended the event.
Regional Nazarene Compassionate Ministries Coordinator Dhariana Balbuena was a presenter at the event. The organizers would like to thank her for her time and presence, because she was a great blessing.
There were scheduled testimonies during the event in which the volunteers shared their experiences and the miracles that they saw God do during their service in South and Central Mexico.
“We are pleased with the results from the Congress. In Christ, all is gain. We want to thank each participant for completing the agenda of the congress and each presenter for their professionalism, love and passionate presentation, so that this generation that Jesus raised up would never stop. Roland Calvo, Carlos Leon, Carlos Betanzos, Omar Villagran, Edgar de la Rosa, Edy Montejo, Josué Rosas, Teodoro Rostro, Gerardo Rocha, José Ángel and Jorge Cordova, thank you. We left equiped by each one of you.”
