Approximately 60 children from the Trinidad & Tobago District attended Children’s Camp on Tuesday, Apr. 10, 2018. The event was a joint effort between Sunday School and Discipleship Ministries (SDMI) and Nazarene Missions International (NMI), under the direction of District NMI President Leigh Hope. The main facilitator was Rev Donnamie Ali, Caribbean Field NMI Coordinator.
Through interactive sessions, the children learned about Jesus and his love for the world, missions, the country of China and Alabaster. They also participated in a group prayer session was held in harmony with the four areas of NMI emphasis- education, prayer, giving and involving youth and children in missions. The children spent time making their own Alabaster Jars from water bottles. The response to the sessions was great as children from varying age groups eagerly participated in activities and listened attentively.
Leigh Hope concluded, “We thank God for a fruitful time and our District SDMI Council for affording us the opportunity to impact this generation.”
