The Mexico East District held Project Paul, and intense evangelism program, in its 5 zones Feb. 4-Mar. 11. After a training time, the volunteer missionaries went out to share the message of salvation house to house and to disciple new converts.
The 5 zones reached with the message of salvation were: Cancun Quinta Roo, Maya de Yucatan, Campeche, Ticul de Yucatan and Merida Yucatan.
A total of 349 people received Christ as their Lord and Savior. Of that group, 171 have begun formal discipleship. They opened 9 new missions and strengthened the existing 17 churches and 9 missions.
District Superintendent Rev. Joaquin Ocaña E. said, “We praise the Lord for the results and for the brothers and sisters who participated as local missionaries. We pray that God will help us to serve the abundant harvest and that he would allow the revival that has begun to become a new lifestyle.”
