Each year since 2010, the Church of the Nazarene Trinidad and Tobago District has been sending a Work and Witness Team to assist our brothers and sisters in the Caribbean Region in their building projects. Over the years, they have made visits to Haiti and Guyana, more than once. This year, the Team decided to assist a church on the Trinidad and Tobago District – the Bethany Church of the Nazarene located on the island of Tobago. The Bethany Church of the Nazarene had a need to build new toilets and classrooms for their Sunday School classes.
On August 12, the Work and Witness Team of twenty-two (22) persons from Trinidad traveled to Tobago to begin building the structure the facilitate the toilets and classrooms on a second floor. The team was able to complete the casting of the decking and the pillars during their time in Bethany. The team spent afternoons witnessing in the community.
They held two open air services on August 14 and 17 and spearheaded a prayer walk through the community on August 20.
