Rev. Carol Rittenhouse recently assumed the position of assistant in the regional ministry of Rev. Ruben Fernandez, Mesoamerica Regional Education Coordinator and Rector of SENDAS. Rev. Fernández extended his gratitude for the work of Sister Margarita de Trinidad who has served through the years, she will continue providing assistance in matters related to SENDAS.
Rev. Carol has served as education associate pastor in the Shawnee and Lenexa Central Church of the Nazarene, both in Kansas. Since 2007, she has also been involved as an administrative assistant in the Pastoral Ministries Office at the Global Ministry Center in Kansas. She has a bachelors degree in secondary education (Romance Languages) from Olivet Nazarene University. She speaks English, French and Spanish. She also graduated (Magna Cum Laude) from the Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City with a Masters of Divinity.
She was ordained as a Elder in 2010. In addition to the described functions, she will serve as assistant of CALL (Christian Academy of Language and Learning) in SENDAS and will also serve as an associate professor in Bible and theology, among other tasks.
