In order to meet the needs of the churches in the district, on March 8th, 2015, a partnership of 5 years between the Flint Central Church of the Nazarene, USA and the Panama Central District began.
The work started in the Samaria church, where they built a dining room and a child development center and upgraded the sanctuary. They had a medical team that saw more than 100 people, conducted a Bible School in the community and in an orphanage for girls.
The second group worked in the Espave church of, where they built a dining room and a CINFA (Center for Holistic Children Development and Family Affairs), remodeled the parsonage, conducted a Bible School, ministered to the women of the church and delivered bags of food to the needy.
The third group worked in the church of Puerto Caimito finishing the remodeling of the dining room and the church, conducted a Bible School and presented the Jesus Film. They made repairs to the church of San Jose where they also ministered to the women and children.
The fourth group worked in the church of Playa Chiquita. They worked on the church building and dining room, hosted a Bible School, ministered to the women in the community and delivered bags of food to the needy.
The district is very grateful for this great blessing. It is a response to years of prayer. Pastors and congregations are thankful because now children have appropriate places where they can be taken care.
