On August 28th and 29th 2015, a Cross Cultural Orientation for Kids (CCOK) took place in the Second Church of the Nazarene in Nuevo Laredo, border area of the Mexico Northeast District. An average of 28 children attended the event, with a heart full of desire to know more about missions.
CCOK promotes a special and very fun times, where children learn about missions, singing, listening to stories and learning about different types of missionaries. They were given a “passport” with which they climbed the “boat” and traveled to different destinations. They walked through the “Time Tunnel” where they meet missionaries of the past, present, and future.
Joselyn Garcia, Mexico Border Zone MG Coordinator said: “We are confident in the Lord that the objective was met, we will pray for each of the children that God will continue His work, it’s really a blessing to have the opportunity to serve on a CCOK, God speaks to our lives and I personally challenge you to keep saying “yes” to God’s call. ”
