For the first time in Panama, a Cross-Cultural Orientation (CCO) was held. Thirty-one people attended, including 2 people from the Costa Rica North District. They met in Santiago, Santa Clara from June 5th to 7th, 2015 to learn and get to know more about missions.
The evening sermons were very special times by leaders, Bernie Slingerland, Evangelism Regional Coordinator and Rev. Carlos de la Cruz, Panama Central District Superintendent.
Experienced leaders attended the event, such as the NMI Regional Coordinator, Sister Ana Maria Crocker; Erica Chaves, Global Mission Coordinator for the Central Field; Gaby Bustos, NYI coordinator of the Central Field and Ana Zoila Crocker, also a speaker.
After having this time of learning where the Lord confirmed their calling, the young people have shown their gratitude and happiness by sharing their testimonies with friends on social media,.
Praise God for what He is doing in the Panamanian youth and the youth of the Mesoamerica Region!
