Hello, my name is Sandro Perez.
I am a Missional Zones Planter in the Dominican Republic. Before I started working with the Jesus Film projects, I had a burning passion to be someone who started new churches. Once I started working with these projects, I knew that the time for my dream to come true had arrived. In 2012, I started working as a MZP. By 2014, I had planted four organized churches. The hardest part, however, is the follow-up, because without it, everything falls apart.
Wherever I go, I always ask if there is a Church of the Nazarene. If the answer is yes, I look for someone who is a part of the church and form growth groups. Our focus is that each one wins one and that each one disciples one. We pray for ten people and then go out to the harvest through an evangelistic campaign. We do baptisms and organize churches through the district superintendent of that district whose job it is to organize the church. We give follow-up so that the work we’ve started will last. We also work with the leaders before starting preaching points in order to make sure they understand what the work will be like.
