Two church-type missions in the Nicaragua North District, “Cairo” and “Hermanos Martínez” are currently building sanctuaries to meet in worship and learn more about the Lord. In answer to their prayers, they recently received two groups from churches in the United States who helped in the construction and also in the evangelism in these communities.
From July 9th to 17th, the Mission in the Cairo community received 7 volunteers from a church in London, Ohio, who worked on the construction of the second phase of this temple, which is expected to be completed soon. The group leader was Pastor Jack Davis.
From July 18 to 24, the Mission in the “Hermanos Martínez” community, received a group of 24 people from the First Church of the Nazarene in Gallipolis, Ohio, USA, under the direction of Pastor Doug Downs. This group worked on the construction of the second phase of the sanctuary, they held 4 Vacation Bible School, which blessed 120 children. They taught about basketball and football at the National Institute of Madriz and primary school in Barrios Unidos. They also preached the Word of God in churches, radio and television. Each service had the involvement and animation of the “Davis Street Duo” composed of Richie and Hannah Jhons. There were two more duets that also sang and testified of the greatness of God in their lives.
We thank God for the groups that come to bless the churches in the Mesoamerica Region
