On Saturday, March 8, 2014, over 100 leaders between delegates, pastors and NYI presidents of the Northwest District, met in the first Church of San Pedro Sula, Honduras, for the NYI Convention. It was also a time for training in youth leadership issues with the support of Regional and Field NYI leaders.
District president Sonia Espinal gave her report. She thanked God for His blessing in all activities including camp “Synergy” which was a great blessing to the district. She also thanked the leaders for their support to her ministry.
Rev. Milton Gay, Regional NYI President and NYI Coordinator and Odily Díaz, CA-4 Field Youth Mobilization Coordinator, shared conference workshops on “Flight plan”. The workshops dealt with topics about youth leadership, intentional discipleship and mentoring youth and adolescents. Rev. Milton Gay encouraged all attendees to continue working and advancing in youth service. Youth leader D. Odily shared a Biblical reflection with all who were present. District Superintendent, Rev. Alex Bardales, pastors and NYI, NMI and SDMI leaders were part of conference.
