Saturday May 22, Nazarene Youth International (NYI) of Mesoamerica held a virtual graduation of the second class of the School of Leadership program with an emphasis in Youth Ministry. Forty-seven youth representing six countries on the Mesoamerica Region and three countries on the South America (SAM) Region completed the series of courses over three months.
“In every course each month, they acquired different teaching-learning strategies empowering them to serve with love, humility, and passion for our youth,” said Sonia Espinal Amaya.
The Church of the Nazarene School of Leadership was designed to provide a tool for the church with the goal of formation and equipping its members to actively integrate their training according to the gifts and calling (vocation) that they have received from the Lord. The emphasis in Youth Ministry is available for all who wish to become equipped to fully serve new generations.
“We thank God for the life of each young person that has dedicated their time to prepare and put into practice what they have learned,” said Amaya.
