The 2014 VBS Workshop for the Puerto Rico West District had the motto “Christ the King of Kings” was held on Sunday February 16 at the University Church in Arecibo. This workshop was Inspired by the workshop of the PR East District,we prepared a demonstrative and interactive workshop from beginning to end .
By the nature of the workshop, it was fun and had all present participating, and everyone received tools and ideas and were inspired to conduct a vacation bible school this summer which edifies all, and is also different and exceptional.
“It was one of the best workshops I have attended in a long time,” commented our District Superintendent, Rev. Raymond Sierra . The workshop had the participation of people of all ages. Some men (my husband made his debut), adults, youth and children participated, and everyone enjoyed it to the fullest. We also had a visit from a group from another denomination. The Church of the Master in Camuy (independent) that had asked us for help and they took the workshop for the VBS in their churches. The most wonderful thing was that they were moved by the Lord so that told us they want to participate in our VBS mission project with participants and collect the offering to send it to us . Hallelujah!
We thank Sister Frances Medero and all her team for all their support and for supplying us with the curriculum in order to make such a beautiful workshop.
