Recently, we shared wonderful news about how the gospel came to a rehabilitation center through a woman who had recently given her life to the Lord. She, along with a group from her new church, The House of Mercy, brought the message of the Lord to the center where her son was in treatment. There, 180 men, including the lady’s son, accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
After that great day, the 180 new believers began discipleship classes. The pastor of the House of Mercy Church, Heriberto Ledesma, said that the men are very happy. He can see the love of God in their faces and that his grace has changed their lives. He also said that they have shown interest in attending the church when they leave the center. He added, “We rejoice in what God is doing in their lives. The House of Mercy is focused on these brothers, 180 men for the Lord.”
The church continues advancing and thinking about the second part of the project, which is a rehabilitation center for women.
Also, the church is evangelizing and discipling people in their community of Rosario, Tonala, Jalisco. They are visiting between 40 and 50 people regularly, and more are being added each day.
